How to take a screenshot on a mac

Doing screenshots on macbook laptops can be done in a variety of ways, according to the needs of each user. You can take a snapshot of an entire screen, window, or just part of a screen. Here are four ways to screenshot on a Macbook laptop.

To screenshot the entire screen, you can press and hold the Shift, Command, and 3 keys at the same time.  The image will be visible in the right corner of the screen. Click the image to edit or wait for the screenshot to be saved on the desktop.

If you think the screenshot of one screen is too big, you can screenshot it for part of the screen. All you have to do is press the Shift, Command, and 4 keys at the same time. Then the cursor will change to a custom cursor to select the area of the screen you want. 

Drag the cursor over the area you want, and press the Esc (Escape) key if you want to undo it. To take a screenshot, release the mouse button or trackpad. If you see a thumbnail in the corner of the screen, click to edit the screenshot or wait for the screenshot to be saved on the desktop.

To screenshot the current window you need to press and hold the Shift, Command, 4 and Space bars at the same time. Open the window or menu you want to screenshot. Press and hold the Shift, Command, 4, and Space bars at the same time. The cursor will change to a camera icon and you can choose which gender to screenshot.
